Meck Connect

A vision for the future of Mecklenburg County.

The Charlotte Area Transit System presented a plan for an expanded rapid transit corridor that connects the city to the towns and counties surrounding it. These maps show proposed new rail lines that would stretch across the entire Charlotte metro area, moving more people more places. In November of 2025, Mecklenburg County voters voted Yes on the Meck Connect Transit Plan.
